So as we near the new year, I’ve been working on a few new story ideas, characters (who will be introduced following the new year), and even artistic changes to certain characters. One of the big things I’ve been debating has been in regards to Luc’s outfit. For the last year and a half that the comic has been around (roughly), Luc has generally worn his Black and Gold Phoenix shirt. I like this look on Luc, and I feel it gives him a sort of iconic look, much like Calvin’s red shirt with strips or Charlie Brown’s yellow shirt if the black zig-zag.
But at the same time, I debate whether or not I should have Luc’s outfit change like in other comics such as Questionable Content, who have a wide variety of outfits for their characters with a few iconic looks that come back (i.e. Marten’s “Teh” shirt).
So I’m going to see what you the fans think. Over on FACEBOOK, I’ve put up a poll that asks whether or not Luc should stick with his iconic shirt or change things up. The shirt wouldn’t disappear permanently mind you, but it would probably not appear as often.
